I really don't know why we, as Christians, even comment on these questions. Maybe we feel that we can help others better understand. Truth be told, I've learned that most don't want the answers to these questions. Most just want to keep controversy going. Nevertheless, here's the answer. God is a gentleman. He doesn't force himself on anyone. Yes, you have the free will. You can either go through life asking a million questions, peed off at everyone, and believe your going to be buried under 6 ft. of dirt...THE END. Or you can give God a chance. Believe he's real. You can't see the wind, but you know it's there. Once you really believe, you will know His presence in many ways. Not coincidences, but surely the hand of God. It's all up to you. What are you benefiting by NOT believing? Ever heard, "Better to be safe than sorry?"

For those that do not believe - its a very hard concept, but for me, when I go outside, when I see the beauty that surrounds me, when I saw my unborn child on the ultrasound, when I realize how incredible the human body is... thats when I see God... I feel that God makes his presence known everyday through the miracle of Life.
If God made his presense known do you think more people would believe? Or do you think we would still come up with excuses as to why we dont need him?

I feel God's presence everyday of my life. Nothing hokey about it. Very comforting. People have to change TO feel his presence. He's there. Trust and Faith. I never really understood how that worked until I did. I don't always understand or agree even now, but, I never loose it completely.

He makes His Presence known, you just have to pay attention!! HE IS REAL, and even if you felt His presence, it's your decision to accept Him or not!

No it would not. Look at Jesus, they wanted to kill him. Faith is not based on nor can faith be strengthened by seeing things naturally.
(Hebrews 11:1) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
(Romans 8:24) For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

Excellent question. He has in creation. He has in prophecy. He has in his Word to us.
I have felt his presence in my life, but it is because I truly asked. God refuses to force himself upon others. We come in faith.
