It's breaking my heart to go against the Professor, but Pep would befuddle Nelson for the 15 rounds. Nelson would be frustrated and weak from chasing Will-O the Wisp and lose a lopsided decision. No knockdowns in the fight and awful to watch.

As it was when Pep fought Saddler, the dirty/rough house tactics throw Willie off his game. Both men are repeatedly warned and lose points for fouls. It seems that Willie is more concerned with Saddler in the corner than with Nelson in the ring thus Nelson is able to secure a 15 rd majority decision.
