i think that the US planned to instigate fighting amongst the people from the start ... this is known as counter-insurgency tactics ... its well known that if u occupy a country that the population will try to unite against u ... so how do u combat that? u disperse propaganda through all media sources to turn groups against each other and stage covert operations to instigate the violence further ... period ... the US administration doesnt want to leave one of the most strategic locations on earth, and if a person believes the garbage they tell u on the news then u have been duped ...

1st - the fighting is not a result of the US invasion. They have always fought with each other.
2nd - No, the fighting does not helpful. We get caught in the middle & they do not wear uniforms or name tags.
3rd - I believe Syria & Iran are backing this fight completely.
Finally, the US is trying to help an elected democratic goverment survive long enough to be able to defend itself & control the warring factions within its own country. The US is not trying to mold this country into our ideal. If the US had been, they would have appointed a president & his cabinet & not this mish mosh of leaders that can not agree on anything.
The US invasion & unseating of Saddam stop mass killings & freed many political prisoners & gave the most rights to women in a long, long time.

Don't blow smoke, Ali. This stuff was brewing BEFORE the US invaded. We opened it up when the Shiites gained freedom.
It's unimaginable that they would have chosen revenge over peace. You're Mahdi Militia is more to blame than the US invasion.
All it takes for peace is for Muqtada Al-Sadr to call off his dogs and live in peace with the Sunnis. However, YOU want the Sunnis to suffer for 35 years just as the Shiites suffered under Saddam.

They the two stay by using Islam, yet Iran is Shiite. the only way i can describe this they supposedly stay from the Qur'an (koran). yet they are sects, comparable too a number of our faith may be like the Baptist and Methodist, we could have faith slightly diverse yet under an identical God. They shiite and sunni Muslims are battling for who're the ultimate sect to rule Islam. Islam isn't a non violent faith that's chaotic and misery. In essences they kill one yet another, their own human beings, using fact in certainty they are puzzled.

No, but we can't really take sides. That could be considered ethnic cleansing if we fought only for one side. This fighting is taking place because Saddam's regime has been toppled and there's power up for grabs. Every time you have a region where one race is lower in society, and power is up for grabs, genocide starts to happen. The formerly lower race retaliates (Rwanda for example).

No...it's giving your troops a whole bunch of headaches and a few causalities.
It's not that the US is not willing to stop it....they can't.

It's always unwise to meddle into other people's strifes without really knowing where your feet bring you up to. Oldtimers called it being up the creek without a paddle.
