Im looking (in the future) to purchase a bichon frise pup (purebred)... Im also interested in Maltese Poo's (mix breed) and Bichon Poodles (also a mix breed)... What are some good websites to provide me with the proper research and location of these pups?

Those are mostly for purebred, some AKC breeder do mix breeds. If you want a mix breed dog they will not be AKC certified, nor registerable (the AKC does not recognize mix breed dogs) therefore you can go about the same way through the AKC website; however, some breeders may offer mix breeds.

AKC does NOT certify breeders..they are a registering body only. If you are looking for a reputable, responsible breeder of purebred dogs go to the AKC site www.akc.org and get a listing of kennel clubs & breed clubs and contact tehm.They will be able to put you in touch with responsible purebred breeders. (there are no responsible breeders of mixes, sine delibrately breeding mixes is irresponsible).

Try the AKC itself. I'm sure they will have a full listing of every register dog there is!

I would talk to your local vets. They helped me out when I was looking for both my dogs.
He gave me breeders names and phone numbers. If this doesn't help do a google search on it. That'll help ya.
