Yes. Depression can create a feeling of lethargy as well as contemplations of suicide. If you think you're suffering from depression, tell your school counselor or your parents and get in to see a doctor to get it treated. There are a lot of good options out there today.

It can make you feel a lot of different feelings as I've been in and out of the psch. wards since I was 21. Now that I'm 47 it hasn't been as severe although, I still have a few demons to work out, I've been out of the hospital for the past 2 yrs.
It hasn't been easy and maybe the meds. have helped as well as having a close knit family that helps and comforts me to some degree. We all need a helping hand and just little bit of love to go with it makes all the difference.

First of all please keep in mind that God does not like when people kill themselves, He gave you this life for some other mission that you still have to fulfill.
This is temporary stage and soon, very soon it will pass away provided you are there to help yourself. Find strenght and ability within your individual self to understand what is really wrong and look for solution. The problem which is bothering you at this stage will become nothing after little while and you will smile at your own misjudgment. Life is wonderful and you will have happiest time still waiting for you at your near future. There is nothing in this world that you should be afraid of. Be strong, confident, accomplished and composed, be brave and take care of yourself!

yes it takes a lot of energy and can make you tired, want to sleep more, not want to go to school. It can get so bad that you would want to think of just letting your life go.
Don't let yourself fall into these thoughts. Get out, get fresh air, take walks, try not to sleep to much, excersize, eat healthy can help lift your spirits.
Hang out with GOOD friends who ENCOURAGE you.
Talk to a councelor, or a parent , a pastor or a doctor. Seek help.
People want to help.

sure does, makes you not want to go anywhere or be around anyone, even people you once cared about, you don't want to do anything you used to love to do and being alone and not doing anything makes you really want to kill yourself, so get help now before it is too late. Counselors are the most comfortable people to go to.

Yes, it absolutely can. Someone may be picking on you or you may feel like you don't belong and feel that isolating from peers and friends is your only option. Please talk your situation over with an adult whom you really trust. Hang in there.
