I was thinking, Buck, Bert, Jake, Jack, or Happy, (hap for short). Any other ideas, or do you like one of these?

Keep in mind that studies have proved that if you name your pets with a name that ends in "y" or "ie" that they respond better when you are in the process of training. So names such as Bucky (Buck) or Buddy (Bud) would be great names. Rocky, Laddie, Tommy, Sandy, Yogi, etc. I'm sure you will come up with a suitable, endearing name.

My best friend has a lab it its name is Jake ,its a great name for labs
i think all labs look like Jakes. My friend calls him Jakee or her Jakers

If your dog is registered then you'll have to have 3 names for it.
Me and my husband just got a chocolate lab puppy. I know this name is kinda weird but it fit's his personality perfectly.
My husband named him "Sarge Mud Bug". LOL!
We just call him Sarge.

I used to have a Golden Retriever...I called him Pax. Pax is the Latin word for "peace", and I didn't get any for as long as I had him, but I always enjoyed him being around. I miss him.

wait a while and see his person alitty or things he likes to do i names my gerble thumper because he loves to lay on his stomache and thunping his foot he does it every morning at 6:30 he is like my alarm he is just so cute and cool hope i helped!
