Dogs love trying to catch snowballs, so have a snowball fight! They love chasing sleds, but few like to ride in them. Many like to dig. Throw something into the snow and watch them dig for it! My Max loves to roll around in it, tunnel with his nose, and run in it. Molly, however, hates the snow and would much rather curl up on the couch.
Have fun!

dogs love to roll in the snow and chase snowballs. They seem to find running around in it fun in itself. I have 2 dogs and as soon as it snows they are like pups again - out for all the fun they can get. Enjoy it with them while you can.

Run around in it, let 'em chase snow balls and kick up their heels. My dogs love snow! if the dog is good at finding things with his nose, hide treats around the yard to keep him busy!

My pit doesn't need help playing in snow, she just dives in and has a good ol' time. However, she enjoys playing hide and seek with her ball in the snow. She is a hoot in the snow or rain!

I had a dog who loved to catch snow. We would toss him snowballs and he loved it when it was time to shovel the walk. Some dogs just love the novelty of snow.

My boxer loves it when I throw snow balls at her. She loves trying to catch them in her mouth.
I'm not sure what else you can do that's different, just the things you would normally do when there is no snow.
Play catch, ect.

Depends on the size of your dog.
If it's a large breed then go sledding.
If it's a small breed then fing a large hill and roll down it the dog chasing behind.

My crews would be in heaven.
My smaller one used top catch snow balls in his mouth. The two younger ones just roll and bounce and my old one digs a hole and lays in it. She is a newf.
