Read Isaiah chapter 53. This is the prophecy of the coming of the Gospel. Jesus is the Gospel. Without the Gospel there would be no Messiah. Also, read the first chapter of Luke and you will see that the Jews were expecting the arrival of the Messiah.

Daniel 9:25 is pretty clear. From the time the walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt to the time that Messiah shall process through them is to be 70 weeks. That works out to about 33AD, to the very day that Jesus entered Jerusalem on the donkey.

None of them that are claimed to be prophesies in the NT. Matthew was an especially big offender. He rips verses out of context and applies them as prophesy of Jesus. But, when you actually go back and read the passage in it's context, it becomes quite clear that these passages are not talking about Jesus at all. In fact, most aren't even prophesies to begin with. Most are either past tense events that already happened, or are fulfilled in the next chapter.

For instance, Matthew tries to apply the virgin birth of Jesus as a prophesy from Isaiah 7:14. The only problem is that Isaiah 7:14 put back in it's context has nothing to do with Jesus.

The virgin birth and resulting child was to be a sign to King Ahaz, King of Judah, that Jehovah would be with him in his battle against King Pekah, the King of Israel, and King Rezin, the King of Syria, who joined forces against him. King Ahaz died at least 500 years prior to the birth of Jesus. It makes no sense that Jehovah would send Jesus as a sign to King Ahaz over 500 years after his death. Besides, the sign is fulfilled in the very next chapter.

All of Matthew's claims of prophesy fulfillment are similarly ripped out of context.

Notice how the NT is written. It is written in a defensive manner. It is written with an agenda in mind, partially to prove that Jesus was the messiah. Matthew seems especially desperate in a time when most Jews rejected Jesus as the messiah, and in his desperation he does a blundering job and proves himself false. Hence the need for blind faith, and the birth of Christian apologetics.

Of course the virgin birth causes other problems for Christian apologists to solve. Such as the prophesy that the messiah would be from the bloodline of David. Joseph is purported to be a descendant of David, but Jesus is not the biological son of Joseph. The funny thing is that both Matthew and Luke give a genealogy of Jesus that don't match up! Christian apologists try to make the claim that the genealogy given in Luke is of Mary. Except that the text never mentions Mary and the genealogy clearly starts with Joseph as the son of Heli, and down the line. So much for Biblical inerrancy!

Christ has that ideal through excellent sacrifice that He provided for our sins and for the reason that He humbled Himself, God exalted Christ to the right hand of God and then gave Him all authority. do no longer be fooled by any writings except the Bible. guy has continually tried to operate to or get rid of from the Bible to in structure himself. yet, in case you quite opt for to appeal to close what pleases God, then study the e book that God wrote and in no way the only which guy wrote. Although somoe might claim otherwise with respect to some of the prophesies (and create messianic prophesies where none exists, ie Isaiah 7:14), the Messiah MUST fulfill all of them or he has not fulfilled any. The most important prophesies concerning the ingathering of exiles, the building of the third temple and the reinstitution of the sacrificial service, the universal recognition of the one true god, an end to war, etc. etc. etc have not happened and in fact, just the opposite occurred around Jesus' time.
