I use my elbows, paper towels, my shirt, anything within reach to exit the bathroom. Does anyone else do this. Am I OCD?

No, you are not OCD. In fact, studies have shown that there are more germs on the door handles than on the tiolet seat!!
Most people don't wash their hands after wiping their privates and then they touch the door.....GROSS!
I wound not even use my shirt, because then the shirt touches me. Use a paper-towel and throw it away immediately!!!

No, you aren't OCD. I do try to do the same thing if I can help it. Many people don't wash their hands. I don't want to even think of the germs! Gross . . .
OCD are people that can't stand things being out of order or they can't bear something being the way it is. You're doing it for a purpose- not an irrational one.

I don't touch them either! It's gross!! My family and I were on a road trip and stopped at a rest stop. I can't remember where exactly but to flush you had to push a pedal with your foot instead of touching the handle. I don't think you have OCD.

I do the same. And I flush the toilet with my foot. Even though I know you can't get STDs from the toilet seat, I wouldn't touch it if you offered me $1 million. God forbid I have to do a #2 in a public restroom. I have to line the inside of the toilet with tissue so I don't get a back-splash. I never sit...I always hover.

I think in today's world you are perfectly normal. Older people might think you are crazy, because they think i am. If I open a doorknob I usually do it with my coat or with the sleeve of my shirt. Sometimes you just have to touch the door knob, there's no choice. Just carry some anti-bacteria gel with you and you should be fine.

Nope! I bust out my crazy ninja skills and kick open the door. My favorite technique, though? Hooking the handle with my elbow and pushing the door open with my shoulder. :)
