If I recall, he made the sun before the fall. So why will it, by desgn, eventually engulf the earth?

I am fully aware that earth will be inhospitable to life before it is engulfed. But I am trying to keep things simple.

The material plane is kind of like a prison, we cant escape from it except through death. This world is constructed to run on concrete laws, the most obvious is the law of cause and effect, to have light and warmth there needs to be some kind of reaction from something i.e. nuclear reactions inside the sun. Everything is like a self contained system i.e. water system on earth, the cycle of birth and death of the living systems.

The sun itself is a self contained system, it forms part of a stella family called the milky way galaxy, and as it burns itself out it will expand to look for more energy to carry on burning for as long as it can. In a way the world is made for us, but yet they are independant systems.

good question. there are the type of lot of non secular communities and all and diverse of them has an answer or 2, yet I anticipate that they are going to preserve themselves with their holy e book - which ability, justifying their God's doing that and by no ability blaming Him for turning out to be devil and letting him brew issues that were hurting and risky humanity for thousands of years. many non secular leaders might want to declare to have an answer for that query. bypass and ask them and analyze their solutions. If God is without starting up and end, and that he's all-knowning, then that isn't any doubt that he knew devil might want to coach to be a nasty boy after He created him. So WHY He created devil is a huge secret. I save listening to information about unlucky activities happening international (which incorporates threat free toddlers being killed, starvation, young women subjected to rape, and so on.). those very unlucky happenings save me wondering this way, what made God tick to create devil?

He can change it so it will not.

Also, it is written that God will make a new Heaven and a new earth, and that the old will be done away with by fire. God may very well allow the sun to expand (in about 1,000 years) and cleanse the earth that way.

To make things interesting. If the sun was to just sit there, it would be boring. We would have one less thing to worry about, even though it's not supposed to destroy the earth anytime soon.

It keeps lots of folks busy, like scientists, astronomers, and doomsday prophets. Otherwise they could end up on unemployment and that could raise our taxes.

Maybe he plans on taking things in his own hands before the Sun engulgs the Earth. Or maybe he will use the Sun to allow the Earth to come to a natural end.

Like a charcoal briquette.
Won't that be special?

Why? Don't know. Don't care.
His plan. He's in charge. I'll watch.

For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Maybe he didn't recognize the design flaw when he was drafting it up and now it's too late to change without admitting he made a mistake.
