Men, what are your thoughts on the women you hook up with, like one night stands. do you respect them, does it change your feelings for them, do you stop thinking about them the minute you sleep with them? What do you think of them? I'm sure a lot of people feel different but I just want to get a variety of opinions to try and see what is out there.

In general...women think that sex=love commitment and al lthat stuff...in general men just want to get laid and dont even think about it

That is totally false. It is women who are utterly averse to casual sex particularly under the perverse misguidance of feminists, who seem have to have turned sex exclusively into some sort of "for profit" activity. The argument posited in "Are there less women today that are marriage material,than past generations?" is that men are averse to "marrying" women who indulge in casual sex. This firstly isn't true as many men do in fact marry or indeed stay in long term relationships with women who have or have had casual sex. The foundations of this argument are also dubious suggesting that all women actively seek out marriage as an end. There are financially motivated women who do this but this again is not universally the case. Men may consider value they surrender to women as consideration for fidelity.. particularly where they mean to procreate and raise families, in which case casual sex may become untenable for both parties... This however is mainly a result of the capitalist mainframe of society. I disagree with "Feminists were responsible for developing positive attitudes towards Casual Sex"... Setting aside all the rhetoric .. feminism ultimately constructs sex as a means to value accumulation and so the actual ideal position of feminism is women who can have casual sex at will and at the same time extract value from one or more of her "lovers" and/or husband, but accrue no liabilities upon procreation or for the value extracted. Casual sex does not involve value transfer and thus cannot be acceptable to feminists.

Well for one I respect all women from the one I have long relationships with to the one night stands. I never judge on why they just want a one night stand or casual sex. I enjoy their company before, during and after. AND I always have the highest respect for them even after having sex with them. ALSo I try to make sure that I treat then like women want them to be treated and whenever I see them I try to chat with them. But as long as they know what they want in life we can be happy with that.

Your question is a tell. You don't understand the concept of casual sex. It's just sex. It's not a relationship. It's not a dating technique. It's just sex. The idea isn't to like you more or less after casual sex. It's just so that the two of you can enjoy something very pleasurable together where you both reap the benefit.
I don't feel any disrespect for someone I've had casual sex with. I just feel grateful and good.

I thoroughly enjoy one night stands and booty calls. In today's age, many of us are too busy with our daily lives, sex is basically a necessity for men and having some convenient hookups is great and the women are wonderful and I can respect why they do it as well.

Casual sex or any kind.......at my age I'd be happy to get anything! Actually hun, if a man or woman just wanna "hook up" for sex, then neither should expect anything more. If this is done between 2 consenting adults then they probably don't care.....they both got what they wanted!

Being a single father, I have not had too many chances of going out and getting any kind of sex, but I am keeping my options open, and still looking for the one, and if I can't find the one, then I guess I will settle for casual sex. Hey, I'm a man and have needs and I know it works both ways, and I am not getting any younger.....

It depends on who they are. Some I have liked and cared for and enjoyed spending time with. Others I have pretty much not wanted to see again and was uncomfortable seeing them again. I always was respectable to all of them. I still think about some of them. Others I knew that it was a mistake.

Some of them may be real nice. One time things developed to a true friendship, and sex throughout of course. One time things became real ugly as she was chasing me all over the place. I felt like I was preyed upon or haunted, so that wasn't very nice.

i'm not a man, but you shouldn't try to think to much of it yourself hun...if you agree to have a casual sex partner then it should be just that...call him when you need him. don't talk to him on a regular basis or you WILL get things twisted...its in our nature as females. enjoy the sex for what it is...sex. you shouldn't worry about what he thinks of you...he doesn't care and neither should you.
