I've tried getting together with a couple people I've met through different classes I've taken at the Y. It never seems to work out due to changing schedules and the general business of working moms. It seems like the majority of women I talk to have a hard time fitting in more than an hour a week for exercise. It helps me a lot to have a workout buddy because then I know I have to go to the gym if for no other reason than not to stand them up. Any ideas would be appreciated.

you can go to sparkpeople.com and set up an account. They have a feature to find work out buddies in your city. They also have a feature similar to myspace where you can add friends so everyone can keep track of their weight loss together. I would suggest to at least check it out and maybe it can be helpful for you. You don't have to have the personal page up, but the website offers several features that can be helpful.
