Yeah and there is NO reference to 'raging homosexual' in the Bible, either, so I guess I am okay

Some Jews (Orthodox) still follow the 613 commandments found in the Torah. Conservative and Reform Judaism has evolved with science and culture and believe that some of those laws were meant only for that particular time period. Today we have laws against running red lights because people are running red lights. Perhaps that law will no longer be necessary in 4006.

Christianish people threw out all the laws in one fell swoop -- perhaps that is why we still do not have peace on earth as promised by the coming of the messiah. Peace is the messiah's sole mission. The Christianish people believe in a messiah who brought salvation which was already available to all the righteous of the nations.

The reason for the law on blending fibres was so that their clothes would last them for a long time. Remember, they were in the desert for forty years and didn't have access to Walmart. As for hot dogs, they weren't available in the desert either.
These laws were only temporary.

Well they don't eat pork Hot Dogs. Not sure about the clothing issue.

However, there is a lot in Levitcus they can no longer follow because it is directed to Levites and the Jews no longer know which tribe they belong to.

You dont' understand what a true Jewish person really is and what the do. The are very dedicated to their faith. Those things you mentioned would not happen to them. Perhaps ther are those Jewish people who don't faithfully practice their faith might not worry about such things, and eat a hot dog. There is such a thing as a kosher hot dog too!

See Rev 2:9 and Rev 3:9 "Jewish" is from the Hebrew "Yahudim" which means "worshipers of YHVH"

Devout Jews are very careful about what the eat, wear, do, touch etc...

For me, a Christian, I think this is almost sad, because their savior who was professied (sp) to come has come, and has freed them from the bondage of the requirement to be perfect.

God knew that no human could ever follow all the rules which were required for a man to get into heaven, so he sent his Son to free us from that. When he (Jesus) died for our sins, we were released from all Old Testament law and given the gift of life without requirements (such as works, sacrifices etc)

I know that Jews believe they are doing the right thing, and I respect their views... but it actually makes me sad to see how much they are missing in life because they do not see that Jesus already came and allowed them to live.

I don't know about the Jewish people...but the fashion police will stone you. And the healthy-eating Nazis will come for you, too.
