Teflon Tony is finished. He knows that; the Labour Party knows that; and the public knows that.
The British people are without a leader with power at the moment.
Although I used to admire him, I must admit his time has come.
Any prolongation of his resignation as Prime Minister is just losing the Labour Party votes.
Anthony Blair now wants to go down in history. I am sure he will - but not for the reasons he would like!
