I do, because both of my children get rashes if the poop stays in contact with their skin very quick. How about you? Don't worry and be true!

My daughter and son never get diaper rashes, I make sure of that. I do see a lot of people not changning their child's diaper, it's such a shame.

my daughter is now two, and i do change it right away...when she was a little younger, i used to wait a couple of minutes to make sure that she was finished, otherwise i ended up using 3 diapers. But no more than 5 mins from the time i smelled it. I use creams on her when she has diarrhea to protect her skin. Thank God she is starting to potty train..woohoo

Well I always changed right away more for my benefit than my sons, he had some really nasty ones. But there have been a couple of times when I left the house and forgot his backpack we were only going to walmart or something and was coming right back, so he had to be in it for a bit and it left a rash. Not good, but I am not perfect.
I use CVS diaper rash cream, other brands did not work on my son. Later I found out he was highly alergic to the absorbancy stuff in the diapers so I had to go through a med supply store to get his diapers.

I usually wait a few minutes from the time I smell it to make sure that he/she is done going. No longer than 5 minutes. I would not want them to get a rash or an infection. Especially girls, they are more prone to infections, such as uti's. Also, If I was elderly or unable for some reason to take care of it myself. I would not want to be left to wallow in my feces. Good God, I would hope someone would care enough not to leave me in it.

I have a two year old (not ready for potty trainin gyet) who will poo a little, come get changed, poo a little more, come get changed again . . . and so on ove rthe course of like two hours. Its frustrating and exspensive (he wears size six diapers), so yeah, I make him wait a littel while. I know its gross, but man, diapers cost!
If he is have diaherra, that different, the I change him right away, cause that WILL cause a rash.

I USUALLY WAIT A MINUTE OR TWO TO MAKE SURE SHE IS DONE BECAUSE IVE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH CHANGING HER RIGHT AWAY THEN SHE GOES AGAIN AS SOON AS I GET IT ON HER AND HAVE TO CHANGE AGAIN. BUT I NEVER LEAVE IT ON HER FOR MORE THAN A COUPLE MINUTES, BUT SHE HAS NEVER HAD A DIAPER RASH "KNOCK ON WOOD"

Yes! Right away because it stinks!!!!!!!!!
The ONLY time I don't is when they throw a tantrum and don't want a change... then let them sit for a few minutes and they'll come running back - "poop mommy poop!"
