Whats the longest you have ever been awake without sleeping....i've done 27 hours and hope I never have to again I was just being random.

35 lately on a project for work, and I'm pretty sure I've gone much longer when I was in college and working while taking classes and partying, too. More than 48 hours then.
But I was taking mini naps then - even at times I would nod off while walking!
Thought it was cool then - don't care much for it at all now.

The longest I've been awake was when I was on an extreme manic high and it was for almost 8 days...I was like three hours short of 8 days. No need to add that my doctor had me hospitallized at the end of that bought of sleeplessness for 30 days.

Somewhere around 36 hours during the Hurricane Rita evacuation. I was pretty much in the car for 2 days straight with no rest. By the time I found a hotel to stay in, I went to take a shower and was so exhausted that I fell asleep in the bathtub. It was horrible.

I've had insomnia since I've been 19, I am now 33. I have gone 6 days without sleeping. I don't recommend it. You can start to hallucinate after that many days without sleep. I had to call out of work for a few days. It takes several days to recover as well. Luckily that has only happened to me once. Occasionally I'll go a day or two, but that doesn't even bother me anymore.

no extra then 40 8 hours instantly and that is without caffeine too. Like now, i imagine i'm about 15 hours~ish so some distance. I only tried going back to sleep yet couldn't, even with having activities for many of the day on the prompt.

43hrs 8 mins 11 secs at a non stop roller skating contest 22 years ago.
I won a car as a result. The amazing thing was despite being exhausted ( but under medical supervision) I only slept for a straight 12 hours before waking feeling quite refreshed.

46 hours and then passed out from exhaustion! That was the longest hours of my life!

21 hrs; I was at school and had awakened 8:00 that morning, I went to a party that night and stayed up till 5:00 the next morning.
