Yes, especially if there will be music. You may get lucky and hear a slayer song. "south of heaven" would be a nice choice.

this answer is blunt but truthful & unbais..
i think it depends on who it is, how well you know the family, where you live, and how short the skirt is.

- if it is someone that you were close to and the immediate family knows you well enough to not be offended seeing you in that attire, then go ahead. if it is a friend of a friend or you are just doing it to stand out and be different, then no. but if this is who you are, the majority of the people there know that.. then i don't see a problem.

- take into account the current temperature, you livin somewhere warm?? cause it's getting pretty cold out.

- how short is this mini? as sexy as i imagine.. it maybe be too short.. probably anything hand-length over the knee would be too mini for the dead may awake :o)

remember, try not to be selfish, you are there to honor the dead, not for a fashion show.

I do not think this is appropriate attiare for a funeral. Many people suggest black for a funeral, but I believe just dessing a litter nicer is better for a funeral than a leather minidress.

I would definately tone down for a funeral out of respect, unless the deceased and their family are all goth.

no that is not acceptable,
funerals are not supposed to look like a prostitute they are to mourn those that you have lost. If you think that is appropriate then you must maturity issues. If you think you are funny, you aren't.
