I've got a head cold and my sinuses are driving me nuts!! I can't smell or taste anything right now. Is there anything I can do so that I can taste and smell again?

Breath right strips are so wonderful, you can be so stuffed up and as soon as you put that on you can smell again. I love those so much. make sure you put it in the right spot though or it doesnt work as good. you can buy them anywhere too, i usually get them at the grocery store.

Have you tried a nose spray, like Afrin? You have to be careful with these because if you use them too much you get a rebound of nasal swelling that can be very unpleasant, but it will definitely open up your nose and help you to breath, smell and taste better. When I use it, I only use it at night before going to bed just so I can breathe well while I sleep. Make sure not to use it for more than 3 days. Good luck.

There is a saline solution over the counter u can buy, it clears your nasal passages almost right away. Or if it's that bad call the doctor and he can perscribe a sinus medicine. I think the spray is called Ocean spray but there are several saline solution right on the shelves.

My fiancee has a sinus condition, so I bought her a steamer to keep on while she sleeps at night. This helped a lot. They are inexpensive and could be found in Walmart.
