30 to 40?? I do know of the standard handgripper. The resistance is supplied through springs. There are different levels of resistance from 100lbs (novice) to 350 lbs (damn near impossible). I feel that these really do work as I have increased grip strength from 150 lbs to 250 lbs over the course of 4 months.

I'm not sure what you mean by 30 and 40.

The best exercise tool I have used and continue to use that has increased my grip strength tremendously is the Captains of Crush by Ironmind.

They are much more efficient than those cheap ones you find at a sports store. There are four different ones. Start with #1 (you will not be able to fully close it the first few training session)

There's quite a few products available but people at the gym I go to use the GripMaster http://www.thegripmaster.co.uk.

They give advice on which one to buy and for what sports. I'm not sure the improvement you want is possible but get cracking!
