I set myself enough time to get from one place to another, otherwise, organization is the key.

The best advice I can give is don't get side tracked. You would be amazed how much time is wasted doing simple things that are unneccesary. Another thing you should try is putting a timer on. It sounds silly but it works. Set the timer for whenever you have to leave and when it goes off drop everything (unless life or death matters) and get to your next appointment or event. Eventually you will be in the habit of being on time. As far as work deadlines, just prioritize. If there is an important project that should take most of your day. If there is trivial work that needs to be done put it on the back burner to make room for the important thing.

Bad management skills. Simply you are not a person who pays much attention to details, and I think it is the very height of bad manners to be late for an appointment with anyone.

I am a person who is always on time, and if I am in traffic etc and know I am going to be late, I phone the person to tell them, then they are never upset, and my stress decreases.

Try to show you are a responsible person and start earlier, break down your schedule into smaller goals and then maybe you will start to achieve it.

I don't suffer lateness lightly, I simply think if that person cannot be bothered, then neither can I. I usually wait 10 minutes then get on with my life.If they phone after I say it's too late and thanks very much!

Get up 10 minutes earlier? Leave the house 10 minutes earlier? Set your clock ahead 10 minutes? It is very easy to be on time if you care enough to be.

Start having a little respect for those who are waiting around for your sorry butt... it is incredibly rude to assume that other people don't have anything better to do than wait around for you to show up. This is very selfish behavior and you should step back and see why you behave this way.

I really struggle with lateness, too. In the past, I've really offended friends, and folks at work got reallysuspicious that I had no work ethic. The only thing I've found that helps me is forcing myself to be early for stuff. I add time onto the commute. I change the meeting times on my calendar to 15-30 minutes earlier. I have to fool myself in order to be on time.

Good Luck! I understand!

recognize that chronic lateness is a sign of sin, and a power thing. Both of these things are not good, and the Almighty would like to work with you to overcome these bad habits. What will it take? Think it through, then make whatever adjustments you need to to be on time.

Add 30 minutes onto all of your existing appointments

You are simply not committed to all your appointments. Either you do not respect your apointees, or you have poor sense of consideration to others. It all boils down to time scheduling your activities Vs prioritising them.
