I have habanero's on toast in the morning.
Nothing is too spicy baby, bring the heat.

Habanero jelly with sliced fresh habaneros with a big dash of cayene pepper is the best way.

There is. When it hurts to eat something and it is no longer enjoyable to consume a spicy food becuase of the pain it isw causing then it IS too spicy.

It's like too cold. You know, Old Man Winter is not impressed if you can run naked through Moscow's Red Square in the middle of January. It's still cold, and you'll still freeze your feet off (not to mention any other protrusions!).

Spice is best when it's a pleasure to eat it. I love spicy food, and I love knowing when someting was spiced enough to test my limits. But I'm not the idiotic type who will chug a bottle of Tabasco sauce just to prove that I am a true macho with hair on my chest. I leave that for the college freshmen.

(edited) Is there any reason why you are bragging about your spice consuming abilities? I bet that after your habanero-toast breakfast you have a horrible trip to the bathroom come 10:00AM.

Yes!!!

I am a cajun girl from the Bayou and I LOVE spicy. However, if TOO much spice is added to food it overpowers the taste and all you get is heat with no flavor.

I love spice, spicy Indian food is my favorite. But when the heat causes your eyes to water, and your nose to run, you can't see or smell the food - that's too much.

You don't only taste food with your tongue, but what you see and smell enhances the dining experience.

Yes, when you can't taste anything in the dish except for the spices, it's too spicy.

Yes- I have very sensitive taste buds. I can hardly stand the dip for the blooming onion at Outback Steakhouse.
