I read the book "How to Potty Train Your Child in 1 day" and decided this was a good idea for my daughter. The idea is have a party all day long. In the morning she gets a new doll that you potty train and she helps train her. Then after her nap you train your daughter. They are supposed to understand better because she taught someone else.
She is only 2 and still doesn't get to tell us that she has to go, but she knows she goes when she gets up, before and after nap time, before bed, and more and more she just goes in all by herself! She is wearing big girl panties all then time, except bedtime. I am waiting on that one!
Good Luck to you, it is frustrating, but if you stick with it- it will happen!!!

First she has to be ready. Some children are "afraid of the big potty"...for these children it is best to get them their own potty seat. When you see her wiggling around or stopping what she's doing really abruptly grab her hand and walk her to her potty and tell her that she will get a surprise if she uses the potty. i rewarded my daughter with M&M's until she got the hang of it and started using the big potty....also if you take her to the potty IMMEDIATLY when she wakes up...it will soon be a routine thing for her to do. All children are on different "time schedules" emotionally so it may take some only a short while to learn this behavior while it will take others longer. Patience and re-enforcement is the rule here.

By showing you how potty training can be
easy... If you follow a proven plan.

Most parents potty train using trial and
error and *prolong* potty training by months
instead of just days if they had used a
proven plan.

when she is ready to be potty trained she will train. My granddaughter would not go potty no matter what was tried. Then one day the little neighbor girl, who was also 3 said she was going to pre school. My granddaughter said she was too. The neighbor asked her if she could go potty all by herself and mine said sometimes. The little girl says " you have to be able to go potty all by yourself"--the next day she decided it was time to go potty. Any little ones in the neighborhood that are in same age group that are doing things because they ARE potty trained? It might work for you.

Have her sit with you (her mother), on her potty chair everytime you yourself have to go to the restroom. Girls love to imitate, and a small reward for the times she does go to the bathroom on her potty chair, makes for a great incentive!!

You have to make sure she gets rewrded. First, explain to her about it. Whenever she gets ancy, AKA: doing the potty dance, rush her to the bathroom and have her go. When she has gone, chher for her and hug her and reward her with a cookie or ice cream

girls are supposed to be earlier than boys, but in my case it isnt. my daughter is 2 and we introduce her to the potty at 14 months and things are going very slowly. it all depends on when the child is ready and you dont want to rush, it could complecate things. she has all the signs that she is ready, but i guess in her mind she isnt. so take things slow
