We just got a new refrigerator and love it. The "problem" is that it has two crisper drawers - one is humidity controlled, the other is temperature controlled. So what kind of vegetables can I put in each of these. And what exactly does a crisper drawer do that a regular refrigerator space doesn't?

I use the 2 crispers, 1 is humidity controlled, and the other is temp as well.

I put 'hard' veggies and fruit in the temp controlled one. Apples, Broccoli, Cauliflower, winter squash. The humidity controlled one I use for the more delicate veggies and fruit, lettuces, tomato, mushrooms....

The crisper drawers are used to keep your fruit and vegetables in. The food will last longer if kept in the bins.
