According to Christian mythology Adam and Eve came to know about sex only when they ate a fruit. If God had created Adam and Steve they would have indulged in homosexual relationship only if they had eaten the fruit. It would have been difficult for Satan to trick Steve more than Eve. Adam would not have eten the fruit if it was given to him by Steve instead of Eve.

I don't agree with you that Adam and Even knew nothing about sex before they ate from the fruit.
God told Eve that she would have pain in childbirth from this moment forward.
They had sex before eating the fruit, but they had no shame.
Once they had eaten the fruit, they had shame.

Adam and Steve could not have populated the earth except through bestiality, which is not what God had in mind.

God knew that by creating Adam and Eve he would surely get lots of Steves without having to mould a Steve.
But then had he created only Adam and Steve with reproductive organs just imagine your plight now ... LOL

Hm. According to the Bible, Adam and Eve had five children: Cain, Abel, Seth, Azura and Awan. Azura married her brother Seth, and Awan married her brother Cain. And Cain, of course, murdered his brother Abel. Based upon this, incest is A-OK by God, as is murder. Frankly, I think God would have been much smarter to go with Adam and Steve. That way the whole incest and murder-fest could have been avoided, and the guys would probably still be happily living in Eden.

There is no Mythology in Christianity - The Christians adopted the old testament as their heritage and to understand this in proper framework we need to go back to the religion and beliefs that existed ages before Christ.
The story would be pagenistic in interpretation.
Adam and Eve - Male and female - Personalities or principles or traits, incorporated desire to enjoy all types the urges leading to procreation , enjoyment ,suffering. death
The force that creates desire is represented by satan
and the temptation to succumb to desire by eating the apple
and the guilt complex is due to destroying the apple - thereby falling into the cycle of birth and death by falling prey to temprory enjoyment.
Various interprtatations to suit one's one predicament , tastes and religion can be given and I would say Adam , eve , Steve are just names. What they signify is left to our choice.
