I just got insurance and have no idea where, out of the many dental practices, here I should go!

Two suggestions come to mind here;

(1) Check with the person where you work that handles your health benefits. Ask them if they have had any feedback on which dentists are good and were bad under your insurance plan.

(2) 10 years ago I was faced with a similar situation as you are now except that it needed a doctor instead of a dentist. So I simply went down to my town's library and asked the librarians the names of two or three good general practitioner doctors in the town. I then checked the names they gave me with the list of doctors available on my medical insurance and found a match. I've been going to this doctor ever since.

I would check with my insurance provider and ask which one's are in the network and just go from there.
