It is wonderful!!! The best grooming tool out there. I own two and we sell them at the vet hospital. I have one for my Persian cats and I bought one for my son to use on his Labs...he started having to groom them every day and then it went to only a couple of times a week and then weekly now it's every other week or longer. The reduction of hair has been astounding!! Their hair coats also look better without all the dead undercoat. Furminators are expensive but worth every single penny..All the techs and vets at work have at least one and we use them at work too.

The only thing I know about the furminator is from my mother in law. She has a dog that sheds like crazy. This service came out to her house and did whatever they did in a van. It's supposed to reduce shedding for a couple of months. She swears it works. They wash her with some special shampoo then brush her. The under coat is what is supposed to come out when they brush. If your dog is a shedder, I would look into it.
