I do not recommend Wal-mart. I bought one there, and it fell apart in a matter of days. It's not the type of blender/processor I bought, it's the store. I've had nothing but bad luck buying things from them.

Try the local Club Stores. Or look around for some of the "as seen on TV" items (Magic Bullet comes to mind). I saw one in Sears just last week. Food Processor, and blender attachment.

You get what you pay for: My husband bought me a Cuisinart food processor for Christmas 1980. It runs great and I still use it to this day. Save your money till you can afford a good food processor.

Walgreens usually have them for about $15; I bought a food chopper from there for $10 & it works just fine.

Wal-Mart, Target, or yard sales. I don't understand why people get rid of food processors, they're indispensable.
