You are going to need a lot more than "luck" on that exam if the statement you just made here is any indication of your cognitive abilities. You are falsely assuming that Jesus couldn't be both the son of man and the Son of God. Tell me, as an atheist how would someone "wish you luck". Whatever your reason for denying the existence of God I am sure it is a good one, with all the luck that you get by peoples wishing.

We are NOT 'all' Children of God. Only those who have chosen to belong to Him are.
Yes, Jesus enjoyed calling Himself th 'Son of Man', because it was a new title. He has ALWAYS been the Son of God. This is what makes Him special. He has TWO natures.

Good luck on your test. If your studying for that was as poor as your understanding of this, you'll NEED it!

Jesus was the son of man because he was brought into this world through man "woman". God is our father and Jesus is our go between. Jesus died for us so that we could get closer to God through him. Think of it like this God said, hypothetically..these people are being bad, I'll send someone to straighten them out. I'll send my son since they mean so much to me, i know he do his best. Jesus got here and seen that the only way he could get through to us was to sacrifice himself so that when ever we mess up Jesus can go to God and say "please forgive them they know not what they do".......I'm not a scholar or anything i just went to Sunday school and have faith.

Don't agree with the guy that says only the people who believe in Jesus or God belong to him. WRONG BUDDY...... if you want to accept it or not we ALL are children of God. You can't help it, no matter how much it hurts you or displeases you you are a child of God. It's ok it doesn't hurt or anything. God is all powerful and doesn't like to be ignored. You can if you want that is your choice, and in the meantime I'll pray for you.

You are a child of God if you are IN CHRIST.

Jesus was the SON of GOD.

Jesus was the SON of Man.

This is a difficult reality to grasp I know.

We are not all children of God. John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name"

We are not. We are all the creation of God. The Children of God are defined in the prologue to St. John's Gospel:

10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Jesus was the son of man; he was not God. Jesus never claimed to be God. At the Council at Nicea in 325, clergymen made him God. But that goes contrary to the Bible.

Mary was not confused. The angel Gabriel told her that she would bear, not God, but the Son of God. See Luke 1:32, 35. What could be more simple to understand?

The doctrine of the trinity has confused many people about God. To them, God is a mystery.
