my dog does the same thing...although she is 70 pounds of love :) my opinion is that it is fear aggression. make sure you make it clear that her actions are not acceptable...it helps to have a leash on the dog when anyone comes through the door so you have more control. you could also just have anyone who comes in give your dog a treat...she would then associate anyone in the house with treats and good things.....good luck, this is a tough one to deal with...

She might realize that she's small, and barking is the only defense she has to warn you (as the pack leader) that someone is coming. She might also want to protect you and let those on the other side of the door that she knows that they're there. About the peeing, the only thing I can think of is to get down on her level and let her know that she doesn't need to be afraid of you.

My dog used to do the same thing. What I did is when someone comes in the door and he starts barking, I just tell him that it's ok.
When my dog barks because someone walks by, I look out the window and acknowledge that he's barking. Then I tell him, It's ok. He learned that when I say that, he can stop being protective.

Enlist some friends to help train her to be more social with people. Have friends come over and give her treats when they greet her and she behaves nicely. After awhile, she aassociate new people with good things.
Submissive peeing is sometimes a puppy thing but often it results because you are doing something she perceives as dominant behavior. Think back to what the circumstances were when it happened and try to adjust your behavior. For example, if you give her a big greeting and she pees, maybe your greetings need to be more low key.

I watched a show about animals and they had 2 dogs on there that had the same problem he used a spray mist bottle and he squirted them in their face as soon as they ran to the door.to my amazement the dogs just sat there froze. He did say it may take a few times before some dogs catch on.I hope this works for you or swat him on the butt with a newspaper.

if it's just you then maybe your dog ain't used to being around dofferent kinds of people. but once they stay there awhile he gets used to it right? don't worry my dog is the same wya and he's going to be 3. it's just that if they aint around different people thwy will act that way if you did have him around people all the time when he was growing up then you wouldn't have this problem

Ha, my canine used to have an identical situation. ok, violence isn't the answer. merely get a twig bottle with established water interior of it, and say, "NO!" and spray them. It worked with mine. in the event that they DO end, compliment hom or her, whichever is barking, or the two. i'm hoping I helped!:)
