Not likely to happen. Why can't you find a family member to pay. Do you think a total stranger would do that?

I don't know if you're asking for someone to pay her ticket, or if you're asking if it's possible for someone in the US to pay the ticket (You or another family member, for instance), then she pay this person back later.
If it's the latter, then yes, it's possible. You can go online, and book the ticket through one of the online booking websites, have her depart from whatever town in Africa she's going to depart, etc etc, then just make sure you use her FULL and COMPLETE name when it asks you who the traveler is. (This step is very important, if it's not the exact same name as in her passport she will be turned down when she comes to the airport.) Later in the booking process it will ask you for payment details, which can be different than the traveler details, so it's possible for you (or someone else) to pay for the ticket. They will also ask you for details on who to mail this ticket to, as I believe they will have to send the ticket via the mail to the traveler, when you do it this way.
Your credit card company will also probably call you to verify that this is a legimtimate deal, since the traveler and the person paying is not the same person.

Unfortunately we have enough people who want to come to the United States to make money and put Americans out of work. I would be shocked if you found someone who also wants to pay for their trip to get here!

yeah, it's probably not possible. it's also a dangerous situation for your cousin to get in...you don't know what someone will want in return.

why don't you give her the money?
