I mean really come on! I think she is totally disrespecting me and my household man! innit :-)
I am seriously unimpressed that my matey is so un-interested in m family! lol

Why don't you suggest going round to her place just to take a little "medicinal" drink for her partner and see what her reaction is. If she says its OK then she is telling the truth if she tries to put you off then there's a good chance she's been telling porkies.

Can you invite other friends around to join you instead?
Dont let it ruin your night hun - and next time she suggests a visit to your house kurtly inform her that you wouldnt think so seeing as shes not a reliable guest to turn up!

Sounds like one of my friends, if she invites me to do something i always do it, even if i was supposed to be seeing me bf i cancel him (im not mean we spend a lot of time together and both cancel eachother for our friends), BUT if i invite her to do something she says yes and then every time she cancels at the last minute, it soooooo annoying but i can forgive her for it.
try not to get too cross and just get drunk on your own!
have fun

she may be telling the truth....just plan another meeting for next week or something, but then again, she may be lying just to get out of it, sorry she let you down, try not to let it bother you too much, there's always other times....
