I like to keep things original with my girlfriend and I am usually good at coming up with ideas, but I was wondering if any of you had some really good and/or original ones.

One of my "perfect date" fantasies is that a guy will take me on a picnic.
One with beautiful scenery (maybe by a lake, under a huge oak tree), and he brings all the fixins...blanket, food, wine (red as you don't have to keep it cold), and utensils. We sit there and eat bread, cheese, fruit, and wine and we chat and then of course end up making out in the shade on the blanket.

Throw a mystery dinner party...You can invire 3 other couples or other friends over (total of 8 usually) and have a murder mystery night You can go to www.anevening of murder.com and pick out the theme. The game gives you everything you will need including menu ideas. It is a great way to get together and have some fun and be someone else. Just a suggestion we do things of this nature all the time.

Whayever your girlfriend likes try to build that theme into the date in some way
Like Erin B says, throw a dinner party but instead of having a mystery dinner build it around her favourate thing or Movie.
Keep it as a surprise until the last minute.

Movies usually suck for dates, and dinner is...well its dinner. I once went to a girls place for a date and she had bought 2 paint by number sets, I was like WTF? but then we started doing them and we sat and talked for hours while doing it and chatting. It was by far one of the best dates I have ever had. So try to find something that is involving but not so complex that you can't chat and get to know each other.

if you have a cool bike then take for a ride......... where you can hear only birds talking with their loved ones....... take her to some nice romantic movie...... chat with her....... bye.... take care.....
