Okay, so I met this guy last weekend and we seemed to really hit it off well. I talked to him on the phone for like and hour monday but since then only a few minutes a day He asked me to go out to dinner and a movie with him tonight so we're going but I'm scared he's really not interested because he's been so short with me on the phone. But would he go through the trouble of taking me out if he's really not interested?

As a general rule, men do not like to talk on the phone. I don't know why this is true, but it often is. If he stayed on the phone with you for an hour initially, it was probably only to determine your feelings about him to see whether he should ask you out.
He did, you accepted, so you're both at least starting out interested. Whether both of you continue to be interested after the date remains to be seen. You'll just have to go out and see how things go! Just be yourself and don't sweat it.
P.S. If you really want to make him like you, don't subject him to any more hour-long phone calls! ; )

I am sure he is interested, or no he wouldn't have bothered to ask u out. Some guys are not "phone" people. They don't like to talk and talk like girls do, especially on the phone. Think about when guys phone there friends..........it is ususally hey what's up, u wanna do something, yeah ok see ya there or talk to ya later. They never call just to talk like we do, so if he is coming across as "short" with u that is probably why. Go out, have fun and try to not think negative thoughts.

He is interested. Some people do not like to talk a lot on the phone. It was the case with my ex-boyfriend. I always blamed him for not wanting to talk on the phone all the time. I think this is one of the reasons we've broken up. He is not just the talkative type and I am. Do not stress him out. Enjoy his company.

It sounds like he's interested for sure. Some guys are just not comfortable on the phone. He wouldn't have asked you out if he wasn't interested. He probably would just rather talk in person than over the phone.

Depends on whether or not he thinks sex is a possability. He would go through the trouble if he weren't interested if he thought he could score. If sex is definately out and he knows it then he might be interested.

Of course he likes you, he's made effort to spend time getting to know you and has asked you out!
You need to consider other factors for him being short with you, he might have had a bad day for example.

"If" he wasn't interested he probably wouldn't take you out. The way you talk about him he seems nice, maybe he's just taking his time with you.

maybe he doesnt like talking on the phone. take the chance. but stick to your values. dont do anything you dont wanna do.
