Well Stars, I think the first problem is trying to rush a process that should become a lifestyle change so that you will maintain a healthy exercise and diet plan thoughout your life, not just the next 7 days. So I can't say whether this is the fastest plan or not. But here is what I recommend:
Change your lifestyle and do this forever. Drink lots of water, walk, run, or swim an hour every day except 1 then do stretching and upper body toning. Eat fruits & vegetables.
No alcohol
no bread
no burgers
No candy
No chips
no corn
no fried foods
No pasta
No pizza
No potatoes
No sodas
No sugar
Good Luck

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

The treadmill is the only cardio you'll need, but do incorporate strength training for faster and more long lasting weight loss. Just a couple of 5 pound weights and a book like Jorge Cruise's "8 minutes in the morning" are all you'll need. It takes only 8 minutes after your cardio, but it will make a world of difference.

There are charts that show the fastest weight burning exercises. I think fast running was #1, but I could be wrong on that. Running is a problem in that it is tough on joints and bones--if you do run, get really good shoes--money should be no object, and do NOT run downhill or on concrete. I like to run on soft beach sand, its a hard workout but easy on the joints & bones. Swimming is also real good. Any activity that you find fun is helpful. Sports are great, but dancing is good, too. Even long walks. Congratulations, and good luck!!

If you have a good reason for losing weight fast then find a local gym, as opposed to the more expensive "Name" gyms. You can usually join them by the month.
Start an aerobics class where you work hard and fast for at least one hour. Once your metabolism kicks in, around 30 to 45 minutes, you really start burning fat. Drink plenty of water before and after. Drinking lots of water all day long helps you lose weight as long as you lay off the sodas and fruit juices with sugar. Drink at least 8 regular bottles/glasses a day. After one week of this intense exercise, you should be able to go from every other day to every day. Within a month you can lose 10 lbs and another 10 lbs the second month. The third month your weight loss will slow down, but start up again later if you follow the above exercise regiment and proper diet.
If you are going to stick with the tread mill then you need to run for at least one hour at a fair speed. With either method, you need to have worked up a good sweat by the middle of the exercise. If your knees or ankles begin to truly "hurt", back off.
You hear it all the time, but it is wise to get a medical check up before you start a new and rigorous program. Let the doctor know what you are planning.
In addition, you need to eat three balanced meals every day. Morning, evening, and afternoon. If you skip meals your body stores food as "fat" to make up for the food you missed. Snack in between (three times) on fruit and vegetables. You know by now what to eat - or what not to eat. Stay away from fried foods and foods/snacks with lots of sugar. Keep in mind no mater what you eat - everything in moderation. There is nothing wrong with enjoying a small scoop of ice cream, or some other favorite snack, a few times a week for a special treat.
Now, you said lose weight fast and not by diet. Increase the one hour work out to one and a-half hours. Remember, your metabolism kicks in at 30 to 45 minutes. Every minute your exercise after your metabolism turns on means more fat burns off. If you can take that stage, from 15-30 minutes of true fat burning, and add an extra 30 minutes. Even more fat will disappear quickly since the metabolism is working longer. You should still be working up a sweat after 30 minutes.
Sounds like you are already dedicated and smart. Good job.

I have done all three. If you are in decent shape, tae bo is a great way to lose weight. If not, then walking on the treadmill will also help you tremendously. Slim in 6 is ok, but I didn't care for it as much.

You are soooo awesome....20 pounds is great....I personally struggled with this. I jogged and did aerobics and i would lose more than 5 pounds, thats with diet changes. The i tried swimming in my pool everyday... That helped so much. i was able to quickly lose 15 more pounds and drop 2 sizes. I know its cold out right now, but most gyms have indoor pools you can try out. Good luck. And congrats on the progress!!!

Anything with cardio, sounds like you pretty much got it down. I think a combo of treadmill and tae bo would be excellent. Also dont forget some light weights! Good Luck!

That is great! You have lost 20 pounds already!
Try and do a high pace workout for an hour to and an hour and a half 4-5 times a week (much more and you will burn out from it).
