i need 2 pick electives 4 next year. there is chinese,french,spanish german,band choir,&orchestra 4 year long. semester long is art,computer 1,computer 2, home ec, tech ed, drama, world cultures, literacy(even tho u have 2 take english!!) sports conditioning. i really want 2 do band. wat else should i do??? my dad thinks that i should do 2 boring 1s if i do band and 2 semester long cuz he thinks that band is fun and i should do not fun electives and work harder, if i do a language i wanna do chinese. wat 1s should i do??

Sounds like you should do band and Chinese. In "middle skool" it isn't going to affect you long term what electives you take. If you are concerned about college right now don't be. Whatever you do, do not take world cultures; it is probably the most pointless class in existance.

Take a reading and grammar class. Maybe they can help you with your spelling issues. And home ec, because if you don't get a clue about your education now, you'll probably end up a housewife with 6 kids anyhow. Learn now how to make pancakes for your masses!

Electives gives you the opportunity to learn about something you find interesting.
Personally I learn much more when I enjoy the subject.
Do what you will enjoy.
