Just apply to US embassy with your marriage certificate. It should not take more than a month.

I assume you are looking to get an Immediate Relative Resident Visa. If that is so, you cannot apply until after the marriage ceremony and then it can take 12-15 months for the visa to come through. While you are waiting for that, there are various other (non-resident) visas you could use in order to stay with your husband in the US.

If you get married and then file for the spousal visa it will take almost a year. If you wait to get married and apply for a fiance visa it will take about half the time.

If the guy has a valid H1B visa, then you can immediately go with him to the US on H4(dependent) visa. To apply for visa appointment, please check : www.vfs-usa.co.in All the Best!!!
