Before she ever got pregnant, an angel came down from heaven and told her not to be scared, that she would bare the son of god. So...yes, she knew.

Your suitable. John 3:sixteen says that God enjoyed the international lots he gave his purely begotten Son. Jesus is God's son. there is not any trinity. it particularly is not got here across interior the Bible. Gen. 17:6-7 God supplies super international locations and kings from his seed. Matt. a million:a million says Jesus linage became via Abraham and King David Mary became that descendant and God deemed her trouble-free to him and blessed her with holy spirit and he or she grew to become pregnant. So confident she became important yet no longer equivalent to God. She did no longer conceive Jesus on her very own. If Jesus suggested that the father is bigger than i'm what makes her, a human equivalent to God? She isn't.

Jesus's mother, Mary, was told that he would be the Son of God. The Bible says that she "pondered" that in her heart. But it is apparrent that she did not completely understand it. There are a couple of incidences during Jesus ministry were she tried to stop him, or questioned what he was doing. But she came to fully understand him after his resurrection. She was one of those present in the Upper Room in Acts chapters 1 and 2 when God poured out his Spirit and began the Christian church. So in the end, she did believe and understand, and has gone to heaven.

Mary believed everything the angel Gabriel told her. It is a pity that some people who claim to know the Bible can't see this simple truth. They believe that Mary gave birth to God, NOT the Son of God. That's why Catholics and others call Mary the mother of God.

Bryan is correct.
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Claiming divine conception was a bold move, but it kept Mary and Joseph from being stoned to death for fooling around before marriage.
