I dont use a flat iron, but i straighten it everyday..
I shampoo at night and sleep with a loose pony tail..
then in the morning the roots are straightened alittle and I have a conair dryer that has a comb that straightens and dries at the same time. It takes me about 1/2 hr.

If your hair is not super wavy/curly, you can get a straightening serum, mixed with a glosser and mouse and blow dry while brushing straight.

get a soft brush and spray some hairspray and comb (hard) onto your hair, so it keeps your hair nice and staright.
or use an iron..lol...my friend used to do that

Gel works for me. The downside to any product is it makes my hair break.

gel, mouse, hairspray watever you want just as long as u make sure ur brushing your hair straight!!
