I have been so stressed out, 2 nights ago I had I guess a nervous breakdown over the smallest things that should not have worried me! I was flipping out over not having enough time to do my laundry, clean my house , take the proper care for my animals, dentist appointments, spending time with my fiance, all these things are building up, I just went crazy, I was crying, pacing back and forth, pointing out things that were dirty in my house..I mean petty things like a spot on my ruf, to crumbs on my kitchen counter! What happened to me and how do I stop this from happening again?

You know the best way is to get a cd that takes you through a full body relaxation I use one and it helps alot ...think about it if you view your stress in a glass if you go to bed with your glass full when u wake it will still be full and you will basically overfill with stress but if at the end of the day u take away the stress you will wake with a empty glass ready to go good luck

YOu can't... sorry... I can make a suggestion...

Your problem is that you can't do everything...

So simplify... do what is important... decide what isn't that important... (perhaps the pets... or saturday dance class)... what ever... figure out what you can stop doing that won't affect you too much.. .like you can't stop taking showers ;-)

Also schedule... SCHEDULE... 1/2 hour of alone and quite time every day... IMHO everyone needs that... also ask your fiance for help... if the house is a mess and laundry is back up ... ask him/her to come over and watch a movie instead of going out... so you can do a couple loads while you watch the movie...

Good luck...

Take some exercise even if it's just a walk round the block, ensure you are eating properly and give yourself time out from the day-to-day grind that's getting you down.

Get out and socialise with friends, social contact is really important as you'll feel less isolated and more able to share your worries.

I've had lots of days like that; cleaning after my brothers messes around the house and getting angry at anyone who got in my way. And i have found out that the best way for me to avoid freaking out is to: take deep breaths everytime your in a stressful situation, get a nice large chilled drink, sit down, close your eyes and breath deeply in your rest. try it out. it really works for me so i hope it also does for you.

A glass of wine always helps take the stress edge off. Just don't drink more than that.

just breathe girl. Slow down and breathe. Breathe in thru your nose to the count of 5, breathe out of your mouth to the count of 7. This rhythmic breathing done four or five times will calm you way down.

Let go... loose control. You can do that and still be responsible for whatever you can do, even if you don't finish everything in time.
