It was discovered about 30 years ago that coffee has some chemical in it that helps prevent metabolic cancers.
Green Tea has chemicals that is also thought to help prevent cancers.
Apple seeds contain Thiocyanide, which has been shown to help prevent some types of cancers, but you eat too many of them, and you can die from cyanide poisoning, so I wouldn't suggest eating them.
Pomegranate juice is good for the heart and arteries and pomegranate seeds might be good to help prevent cancer.
Turmeric has recently been shown to help prevent cancers.
Chillies have also been recently shown to help prevent cancers.
Oat bran, apparently helps remove polyps from the bowels, and this prevents them from becoming cancerous.
Stay away from Cycad seeds, tobacco products, the herb hemlock, mistletoe seeds. These all can cause cancers.
There are more, but I have to look them up, and to do that I have to fix my pc at home, where the info is kept.

There are several natural cancer preventives.
1. Green tea, the japanese kind that contains a lot of catechines.
2. Turmeric/curcuma/haldi (spice) contains powerful antioxidants
3. All berries, esp. blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, also for antioxidants, but also for antiangiogenic properties.
4. Cabbage
5. Fermented dairies, those which contain active bacteria. Probiotics are a nice way to stimulate the immune system for a better protection against cancer and infections.
6. Cooked tomatoes, for a chemical called licopene. Raw tomatoes actually stimulate some tumor types, in vitro.
7. Dark chocolate, for polyphenols.
8. Red wine. Also good for heart condition.
9. Ginger root, chili peppers, coriander ... most spices.
And there are others... So you see, you can have a very enjoyable diet, while eating foods that are good for you !
However, you should avoid, as much as possible:
- french fries and potato chips, which contain high concentrations of acrylamide (a very toxic compound)
- Canned drinks, mostly soft drinks, which are also bad for diabetes. They all contain a chemical called bisphenol, which has not been proven harmless... so better limit your intake.
My philosophy is to avoid pills as much as possible (and mostly in the area of food supplements). These pills are much less controlled than the pharmaceutical medication. Most contain compounds that have been wrongly extracted, or an insufficient dosage. Some even contain harmful chemical which can cause severe problems.

You know the common things to avoid, like drinking, smoking, and drugs. They lower your imune system. Eat lots of healthy foods. If you can afford it, organic food is the best because it doesn't have man made chemicals in it. You can look up some specific foods online. There is a whole list of the best cancer fighting foods somewhere.
