Matters the type of tint ofcourse, but I assume the type of tint you are talking about is the reduction of energy type.
But jeesh, how does tinting save energy? All you need to save energy with windows that tint, is to have the default tint to be zero, and then send a single pulse of energy in a certain direction, and the windows stay in that tint level without further energy input. then send the current in a different direction to change it back.
Or is the question where when you tint the window, it captures the suns energy on the tinted windows, then storing or using that energy?
