I think that this woman has taken advantage of your kind nature!!
You have been so reasonable for so long and are even willing to let her pay in smaller amounts...........
I also think that others on here are right - without a contract i doubt you wuld make any head way in taking her to the small claims court - however, maybe she doesn't know that and the threat will be enough to make her pay up.

Its a pain but keep reminding her she owes the money ...and i do think its smart to offer that she pay a small amount out over time...like $10.00 every Friday...along those lines. Its not fair that she not pay you, but its incumbant upon you to be in her face and demand to be paid. Good Luck

Unless you have anything in wrting or a contract you have no hope. I t would be your word against hers. If you took to petty claims court she might admit owing you the money but you'd be relying on her honesty.

I suggest you take her to small claims court...You did her a service and she needs to pay you for that service. Sounds like she is taking advantage of you. You have a solid case.

Unless you had a written agreement stating you were happy to wait until she had money for payment then there isn't a lot you can do I'm afraid!
