There is a deodorant out calledd Certain-Dri. It is supposed to keep you stink free for up to 24 hours, then eventually for days. My podiatrist suggested applying this stuff to my feet once a day until they stopped stinking. I had problem with this when I was younger and serving tables for 12hours a day. It worked great and I have been recommending it to people now for over 15 years.

My dad had this problem, and got rid of it this way:
He filled a big plastic bowl with hot water, liquid soap and about 1/2 dl chlorine. He soaked his feet in this for about 15 minutes, twice a week. After the soak he rinsed his feet in the shower and used an "anti-smell" foot cream.
No smelly feet anymore!
And yes, use cotton or wool socks, change them every day or twice a day if needed.
Good luck to your friend!

your friend wants to know.....yeah right stinky feet! lol Try washing each nifght in an antiseptic solution like dettol liquid. Something to kill all the unwanted germs which create those foul smells on your little feet. Otherwise you have a beautiful avatar and i wouldnt kick you out if your feet stick anyway.

My daughter used to have horrendously smelly feet, and I mean SMELLY. People used to move away from her in public places and I used to make her leave her shoes outside. Nothing worked. We went to the doctors, used herbs, everything.
About six months ago she became obsessed with Converse trainers. And guess what? No more smell. Converse let your feet breath apparently and now she can sit next to people on the bus, in the cinema, at work, with no one remarking about the smell, or moving away. Try it they may be expensive, but they are really worth it

Believe it or not but a mild solution of vinegar in warm water and soak for a while. and dry thoroughly and put non perfume talc inside socks. to aid soaking up of the skin em missions. This done every day for a while will resolve some of the problem.

There is too much acid in his diet. He needs to have a better diet. Also, after he washes his feet, dry them thoroughly, put foot powder on the palms of his feet, then put the cotton socks on.

Yep - try washing them!
OR
Put tumble dryer sheets into the shoes everynight to stop the smell - neutralises the odour and stops the transfer of odour from shoe to foot!

Were 100% cotton socks...they will absorb the sweat properly. Anything else is what cause your feet to stink.
If its 80% cotton and 10% polyester.Your still screwed.

Unofortunately, there is nothing you can do. You can try foot deodorant, but those smell worse than the smell of feet. The smell your body emits is genetic.
