For example, the following verses of the Torah promise the coming of the Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings:

The Lord said to me [Moses]: ‘What they say is good. I will raise up for them a Prophet like you among their brothers; I will put My words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to My words that the Prophet speaks in My Name, I will Myself call him to account.’ (Deuteronomy, 18.17–9)

The Qur’an points to the same fact:

We have sent to you a Messenger as a witness over you, even as We sent to Pharaoh a Messenger. (al-Muzzammil, 73.15)

God reiterates the same fact in the Qur’an:

He does not speak out of [his own] desire. It is but a Revelation revealed. (al-Najm, 53.3-4)

The Prophet who shone forth from Mount Paran
The following verse,
The Lord came from Sinai and dawned over them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran. (Deuteromony, 33.2)

Another verse from the Torah:

And He said, ‘O Moses, surely I will raise up for them a Prophet like you, from among their brothers (that is, from among the children of Ishmael); I will put my Word in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I Myself will call him to account.’ (Deuteronomy, 18:18-19.)

A third verse from the Torah:

Moses said: ‘O my Lord, I have found in the Torah a community, as the best of the communities, that will be raised for (the benefit) of mankind; they enjoin the good and forbid the evil, and they believe in God. Let it be my community!’ (God) said: ‘That is the community of Muhammad.’3

Prophet to come in the following strain:

O Prophet, verily We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of good tidings, a warner and a protection for the unlettered. You are My slave; I have named you ‘the Reliant on God’, who are not harsh and stern, and not clamorous in the marketplaces; who do not repel the evil with evil, but instead pardon and forgive. God will certainly not take away his life until He straightens a crooked nation by means of him (by causing them) to proclaim ‘There is no deity but God’.5

In Chapter 42 of the Book of Isaiah, there are the following verses:

Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations. He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope. (Isaiah, 42:1-4)

These verses obviously describe the Mount Arafat, the most blessed mountain of the world, and the nation of Muhammad, upon him be peace, together with the prayers and praises that would be offered by the pilgrims who would flock there from all climes.

The following verses are from Chapter 72 of Psalms:

He will rule from sea to sea
and from the River to the ends of the earth.
The desert tribes will bow before him
and his enemies will lick the dust.
The kings of Tarshish and of distant shores
will bring tribute to him;
the kings of the Yemen and Seba
will present him gifts.
All kings will bow down to him
and all nations will serve him.
For he will deliver the needy who cry out,
the afflicted who have noone to help.
He will take pity on the weak and the needy
and save the needy from death.
He will rescue them from oppression and violence
for precious is their blood in his sight.
Long may he live!
May people ever pray for him and bless him all day long.

These verses describe the Prophet Muhammad, the Pride of the World, in a very clear way. Since the Prophet David, has a prophet come other than the Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace, who has spread his religion from east to west, to whose name many rulers pay tribute, and whose way so many obey with deep adoration for him, and on whom one fifth of mankind call, every day, God’s peace and blessings? Is there anyone who fits this description other than the Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings?

1. Although it does not exist word for word in the present editions of the Bible, it is recorded in Hujjat Allah ‘ala al-‘Alamin fi Mu’jizat al-Sayyid al-Mursalin by Yusuf Nahbani, p. 104.

2. Although it does not exist word for word in the present versions of the Bible, it is recorded by ‘Ali al-Qari in his Sharh al-Shifa’, 1:743. However, we read in the Torah, the following verses:

I will make the son of the maidservant (Hagar) into a nation. (Genesis, 21:13).

But the prophet here promised was pre-eminently the Messiah, for He alone was “like unto Moses” (see on De 34:10) “in His mediatorial character; in the peculiar excellence of His ministry; in the number, variety, and magnitude of His miracles; in His close and familiar communion with God; and in His being the author of a new dispensation of religion.” This prediction was fulfilled fifteen hundred years afterwards and was expressly applied to Jesus Christ by Peter (Ac 3:22, 23), and by Stephen (Ac 7:37).

All these verses are applied to JESUS CHRIST and the New Testament says so. The Quran was made up by man HUNDREDS of years later, they take a bunch of verses that talk about a prophet and attribute them to muhammad, going totaly against what the N.T. says. Then the Quran says to see whether or not the Quran is by looking to "the book" (which means the Bible). The Bible says this is speaking about Christ, and the Quran says it relies on the Bible for truth, then it contradicts the N.T. so, the Quran is false, and all these examples that you gave just shows that it is a false book.

John 14 30 is talking about SATAN ! If you want to attribute Mohammad to him that's fine, since he is a false prophet.

The "paraclete" is greek for helper and is used for the Holy Spirit. Shows how much you know about God's word.

All this is just a desperate attempt to validate something that is false.

If you accept the Bible in Duetronomy 18:17-19 as a true prophecy, then you must also accept Acts 3:22-26 where it states that the person who fulfilled that prophecy was Jesus.

The Bible makes no mention of Muhammed, other than to warn that anyone who came and changed the gospel of salvation through Jesus is a false prophet.

The reference on your website (Deuteronomy, 18.17–9) became no longer speaking about Muhammad, yet Jesus. Islam's Jesus isn't God, even as Christians believe Jesus became God. also, Muhammad became no longer a prophet by technique of previous testomony criteria, although Islam believes he became more effective than Jesus. that is easily a faith of works.

Songs of Solomon Chapter 5 verses 16:

the prophet Muhammed is NOT mentioned in the old testament because he did not live in that time period. Muhammed lived about 600 years after Christ.

That passage you read from in Deutronomy 18 did not refer to mohammed nor does the word "brethren" refer to the brothers of Jacob (Israel) which undoubtedly would have been the Edomites; which were descendants of Esau if we are to follow that logic. Ishmael was the brother of Isaac, and Isaac was not called Israel rather it was one of his sons; Jacob who later became Israel. Genesis 32: 28:

"And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed"

However if you read that passage from the beginning you will find out that Moses was speaking about the Levites and in verse 15 he made the same statement in this manner: "The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;" notice in the verse the phrase "from the midst of thee". In those days you were either Hebrew or gentile.

The new testament gave us the answer to that prophesy in the person of Jesus who in most ways was compared to moses. Check out this statement made by Peter the apostle in Acts 3:20-22 :

"And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people."

In the new testament jesus was also refered to moses in hebrews 3:1,2:
"Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house."

The truth of the matter was that the jews never looked outside themselves (the jewish nation) for the above mentioned prophet or saviour.
