Does anyone know anything about scar tissue pain?

I had a thyroid Lobectomy last june, and I have a scar right across the bottom middle of my neck. For the last 3 days I keep getting this little sharp pain there. Its kind of hard to tell if it's the scar or right below it. But I was wondering if it could be pain from scar tissue.

scar tissue can be very painful for some people and not bother others at all. I suggest rubbing vit E on the scar and massage the area, even if it hurts some. Scar tissue is dead but you can manipulate the skin and tissue around it. Hope it helps
