Just Americans? I'm English but I have tried one in south America and have a recipe. Some people hust dip them in chocolate and add hundreds and thousands but I think this one tastes better. You can change the nuts and use candy instead.

4 bananas, peeled and halved
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch morsels
1 cup chopped almonds
1 cup candy sprinkles
8 wooden craft sticks

Insert wooden stick into each banana piece. Arrange on parchment-lined sheet pan and freeze for 20 minutes.
Place chips and morsels into separate bowls. Microwave on medium heat until melted, about 60 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds.

Remove bananas from freezer and dip by alternating between melted chocolate and butterscotch. Immediately roll them in chopped nuts or sprinkles. Freeze until frozen solid, about 1 hour.

Do you mean anything like this recipe?

Yummy Frozen Bananas
4 ripe bananas
popsicle sticks
½ cup chocolate, chopped

Peel bananas and cut in half. Place a popsicle stick into the middle of the cut end as a handle. Melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler. Dip bananas in chocolate and turn until well coated. Place bananas on waxed paper on a cookie sheet and freeze for a hour or so. Remove from freezer and enjoy.

O r you can make a smoothie with frozen bananas.

The only thing I can think of is melting some good chocolate in a double boiler, dipping in the bananas. Let them cool on a rack until the chocolate sets up, wrap them in a airtight freezer container and pop them in.

If you have bananas that are already frozen and want to use them in various ways, try defrosting them and using them in banana bread, banana muffins, banana cookies, banana cake, etc.

This works well. I buy over ripe bananas at much lower price, freeze them, and use them in this manner.
