Get yourself some vaseline or carmex, use it throughout the day but put loads on at night so it can seep into your lips and make them nice again. make sure you apply lip balm or vaseline before you go outside now it's getting windy this will help your lips from drying out.

Too many luvkisses? :-) Lip balm will help to stop them getting sore. But if your diet contains a lot of stuff like pastys and fizzy drinks, maybe you aren't getting enough vitamins and essential fatty acids. Try eating healthier and/or a multivitamin and an essential fatty acid supplement (eg fish oil/evening primrose oil capsules).

Skip commercial chapsticks, they are manufactured to only coat the lip, not heal it, which means once you start using chapstick, you will need to use it forever to keep your lips soft. I depend on a beeswax stick by Burt's Bees, you can find these at Walgreens/Rite Aid/CVS/etc, and they aren't terribly expensive, but do the trick. These will help actually heal your dry, cracked lips. In really severe cases, you can use a q-tip, and put some Neosporin or Triple-Antibiotic cream on them to help speed the healing process. Good luck!

it might be your diet but i would put it down to the weather! use some Vaseline its the best for dry lips ! apply it 3 or 4 times a day and especially be for you go out side and when you go to bed put double the amount on and it helps if you put it on your skin just under your lips and just above it helps! don't lick your lips and don't bite the skin of it Will come of with the Vaseline! good luck :) x

Fizzy drinks do not count, as dehydration might be a factor, also possibly a deficiency in EFA's (essential fatty acids), the best source I know is Flaxeed Oil.
Also perhaps zinc & B6 vitamin.
ask at your local health shop.

Nivea lip cream works best for me. I think that non scented one is the best. It protects your lips from getting dry, and I've been using it for many years. If you have a habit of licking your lips, then it tends to make your lips even dryer, so use the lip cream whenever your lips are dry and use it after meal or drink.

Use a clean toothbrush and gently scrub your lips with Vaseline. That works quite properly. also persist with Burt's Bee's lip balm sevral cases an afternoon. i tried many different manufacturers of lip balm yet i imagine that one works the perfect. And it has a good tingly feeling once you persist with it.
