Real ID provides for RFID chips, as I understand it. They have a limited range, and don't have their own battery power. So RFID chips can't "broadcast your location." They don't have enough power.

However, when a scanner passes over an RFID chip, it sends out a radio signal, which causes a bit of energy to flow through the RFID chip, which then responds with another radio signal saying "I'm here!"

So, without a scanner, an RFID chip is just a piece of plastic.

With regards to verichips: They are HUGE. Like, 1/8 of an inch. They have to be, in order to receive and respond through as much skin and muscle as they need to be implanted under.

Trust me, if a microchip were implanted in you, you'd know it.
