i have a freind called richard and i really like him . yesterday he asked me out BUT i have a father who is very over protective . id love to say yes to him but my (step)dad would go in to a fit .
what should i do ? i really like him

Guys are often shy so you make the first move, ask him out or/and find any excuse to keep getting touchy ie tickling, sore spots needing rubbing better, or lotion or asking for a massage.
Or 'forgetting ' how to play pool so he can show you cna get arms around you.

How old are you? If of age then tell him about it and try to keep a low profile relationship till you find ways to put it to your dad.
