Caffeine acts as an appetite suppressent, therefore making you not feel very hungry. It is also a diuretic, making you pee a lot ;) and getting rid of water weight. There is not many calories in just a plain cup of black coffee. It is when you add whole milk, sugar, cream, etc that it gets fattening. Drinking your 2 cups of coffee would definitely not hinder your fitness goal (whatever that may be ) unless, as I said, you're adding all of the extra fattening condiments to it.
There have been studies, actually quite recently that have stated that 1 or 2 cups of coffee a day is good for you.

i didnt know you can loose with over it though. 2 cups is about safe a day but id stick to 2 cups per day
